"Hey, don't joke about S&M."
"I wasn't." *smiles*
"I know you weren't."

Today was interesting, to say the least. I wore my scandalous senior shirt to school, and I say scandalous because of all the sheep porn going on on the back of it...some of you know what I mean. Random acts of sheep sex. If I heard, "Hey, did you know there are sheep boning on the back of your shirt?" one more time, I may have had to scream.

Homecoming was canceled due to the hurricane that may not, and hopefully not, even come here. Therefore, we no longer have Monday off. Excuse my language (and by the way I have been so good about cursing all night long), but WHAT THE FUCK? Everyone was pissed. It's not fair. I was planning on so many things for that day, and now it's all shot to hell.

Tonight I went out with Rach, Mike, Jen, Katie, Brittany, Andrea, and Maria (Rachel's friend). We saw Shaun of the Dead, which was hysterical.

"Wait, did Ashley just laugh at that guy calling all those people 'c*nts'?"
"Yep, she did."

I wore my "Yeah, they're real" t-shirt. It's the first time I've ever worn it around a bunch of people I knew, and I was really okay with it. Usually I care a lot about what other people think when it comes to stuff like that, but I kind of forgot it was there. Everyone loved it. ;) After the movie, we went to Maggie Moo's and had ice cream. We sat outside and talked for a long time. I don't know if I ever mentioned it in here, but I really adore the weather we've been having. It's perfect. It was great to sit outside with the nice breeze going on and just talk and laugh. We went to B&N across the street about 15 minutes before closing so Jen could get a calendar, and then we drove to the beach all the way out by Las Olas. That strip sucks. Mike and I had to leave since our parents called, so I drove him back home. It was cool to chill with him. We're both happy to be going to the same college, and that's an awesome thing.

"You can't help who you love; you're not supposed to. When you love somebody, you love them." -Save the Last Dance

So it looks like the hurricane is coming right for us...great. Which probably means we will have Monday off after all, but will not have any power with which to enjoy it.

The Sims 2 Is Addictive Love

High speed internet is also love...I forgot to tell you all that I got it on Thursday. I have now joined the world of the living. ;)

If I don't get to update later, I hope everyone is safe in the hurricane. To quote Mr. Ott, don't do dumb things. Don't step in puddles and stupid crap like that.

Breathe in, breathe out

You know you love a good list...

  • They're processing my application for FSU...agh. Just tell me already! I swear, this has been the longest month ever. Guidance said we're supposed to find out by the end of next week. We better. I'm fairly positive I'll get in, but I just want to know. I just want to know that I have something to look forward to, and I want a piece of paper making it official.

  • I'm planning on kicking my parents' ass in Scrabble tonight. Then they will have to bow down and call me Queen of Milton Bradley because I rule.

  • I feel so incredibly stressed out, and the only reason I can think of is so small in retrospect. Not "there-are-starving-kids-in-Ethiopia" small, but "what-the-hell-does-this-matter?" small. Why do I continue to do things to please my mother?

  • Or maybe it's because I woke up to my mom yelling at me this morning. For something I had no control over.

  • Mick and Taylor were supposed to be here this weekend. F-ing hurricane.

  • On a positive note, I've been a lot better since I made a little change in my life.

  • I found more material for my bed collage...oh, and I found a bed that I love. (In case you don't know, I've had my bunk beds since I was 2, and I need a grown up bed).
