J'adore Lemony Snicket. He is the king of the run-on sentence.
And now I have successfully re-typed from memory what I wrote THE FIRST TIME I POSTED THIS.
Anyway, I am back from my short trip to Charlotte. I saw Jon, Jules, Justice, and Erin, which was so awesome. I went to the infamous Lollicup, where the all-too fabulous Julie works. I saw Justice in her famous fishnets. I sang with Jon *does her happy dance*, and had hot sex with him...but I digress. And I got to talk to Erin about theater and Daniel and all the rest of it. :)
I fell in love with downtown Charlotte. For my Floridians, it's like Las Olas, but with more art. It's so fantastic. I'm not a gallery fan, but I was just looking around what I saw of that city in amazement. Gorgeous statues everywhere, little kids playing in one of those fountains that come up from the ground. People sitting on this funny sort of grass (we have shitty grass in Florida, seriously) and hanging out. There was a whole Japanese cultural festival going on, which kicked some serious ass. So many people were walking around in kimonos and eating sushi...Jon and I made fun of a few of them, but it's all good.
It was just so artistic and cultural and gorgeous. And did I mention the weather is perfect? Hence the reason that I have found another college to apply to (making this 2 colleges, just to keep you up to speed): UNC Charlotte. I love the city so much that I almost wish I could just go there, but I'm worried. If I don't apply early decision to FSU, I have less of a chance of getting in there, and I don't know my chances of getting into UNCC. Yeah, I need a guidance counselor appointment. How's August 17 sound? :p
I also decided that I'm double majoring no matter where I go: psych/drama. I seriously feel I need drama to be a good psychologist, plus I love acting.
I am really glad to be home, though. Ft. Lauderdale will always be the best city in the world to me, although I'll put Charlotte and NYC on my top ten list.
