The WB life

"I won't be broken again." -Evanescence

Does anyone else ever wish that life could be like a television show for, say, one week?

See, it doesn't mean life would be perfect. What would a show be without conflict and drama?

I guess sometimes I feel like I'd just kill for a Dawson Leery in my life, or to be like Felicity, or to be loved in the way that Pacey loved Andie. Your parents are divorced? Well, by the end of the season, you'll have a whole family again. You want to go against your parents and be an artist? Great. You'll find money somehow. Break up with the love of your life? You'll find someone else.

It's this place where fights don't last forever and everyone is absolutely certain of who their best friend is. They all get a chance to tell the people that hurt them just how sad they are and just how much they are hurt. They get to vent to their parents and not get in half as much trouble as I know I would get into. They have someone to cry to when they need it, and, furthermore, they actually CAN ask for help. It doesn't shame them or embarass them. It's not like their friends just find out what they're really feeling through comments that they didn't even know they made.

I wish things were simple enough to be solved in 45 minutes.

The Question...
Yeah Ashely... It must be said that I agree with you. I also wish that my life could be a television show for atleast a week. I could really discover who I am with the help of others. I could be in touch and comfortable with telling people they are absolutely full of shit and lack the understanding of what the real world is. Now that you brought it up ... it does so awesome even though there would be drama. Yeah I wish. By the way thank you for posting something of substance. Others seem to lack that by posting something worthwhile people might be able to learn something or atleast express theirselves.
Later peace out,
PS this is my first reply since my farewell. You just had to make me come back ... didnt u?

Re: The Question...
That last bit made me laugh. :) I do hope you keep reading my journal though, even if you aren't going to be a full-on lj-er.

You make really good points. That's definitely another plus of life being like a t.v. show: telling people what I think. Oh lord, wouldn't THAT be dangerous? I adore so many people and love a lot of them, but there are others that I would just love to tell off every once in awhile. Maybe it's better that I can't...less people hate me that way.

When you left lj I wondered if it was because people railed on you for expressing how you felt. Now, if you'd composed a manifesto of hate and derision, I'd understand them. But just for expressing your opinions? It's called the 1st Amendment. Live it, learn it. I liked your lj, personally. I understand, though. People bitch at me about my lj, too. "I'm not in it enough!" Um...since when did this become a story of YOUR life? But I'm rambling.

Peace and other good things,

P.S. Do you have an AIM address? I asked this before, but no answer. ;)

Hm...I'm not too sure what mine would be. I'll have to give that one some thought.
